Please, tell us a bit more about yourself and your life, what are your interests?
My name is Giselle, I live in Xananetla, I'm 9 years old, I like watching films and reading.
What are the most important issues for children relating to the environment and climate change in your community?
I have two very important issues: the right to education, the right to food and the right to health.
Can you share an outstanding activity for children and young people that is being carried out in your community or country to help or protect the environment?
In my family, we take care not to throw rubbish in the street and we sweep outside my house every morning to collect the rubbish that is near the house and we also put up signs so that people don't throw rubbish. We want to put a vegetable garden in the colony so that people can grow their own vegetables and so that the neighbours can harvest and plant more.
You're working a lot to protect the environment, do you have any personal dreams that inspire you?
I would like to see my neighbourhood cleaner, without so many parked cars and with lots of plants, I would like to see my neighbourhood more colourful with plants and trees in the streets.
Thank you very much for this interview, dear Gisselle. We wish you all the best.
